Jenghe has a population between 10,000 and 10 million sophonts, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. The governance of this world is from Regina (Spinward Marches 1910). It is a member of Third Imperium in the Regina Subsector of Spinward Marches Sector and in the Domain of Deneb. Jenghe, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. This world contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling Scout Service starships and personnel.
Astrography & Planetology[edit]
Jenghe is a member of the Spinward Main. It is part of the Regina Cluster.

Mainworld Data[edit]
In 971, Jenghe's moon crashed into it, destroying most of the world's dry land mass, and raising ocean levels considerably. Almost ninety percent of the population perished, and the world was placed under Regina's control. Jenghe has an unusually strong magnetic field, and the moon was primarily of nickel-iron composition, though whether this was the mechanism that triggered the disaster is unknown.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Jenghe was made Duke Norris' personal fief in 1103, and despite the Representational Reforms, is still connected to the First Regent's family, and Regent Caranda is considered its titular head.[2]
Imperial Landed Nobility (N)[edit]
Jenghe, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Nobility overseeing the world.
Norris has granted lands to a distant cousin: Baron Darius hault-Skyos. Baron Skyos maintains a villa on a small island paradise south of the island which contains the starport and scout base. Skyos is known to have favor at the Regina court because of his personal relationship with his friend and distant cousin Norris. Skyos raised a ward named Aramis whom is rumored to have become his legal heir. In the mean time, Aramis has local lands and titles to include Squire to the Knight Commander and Baron of Astallac. Skyos is conservative and tends to push the Norris mindset though not considered a sycophant or zealot. Caranda regularly calls on Skyos for input and assistance in managing Jenghe. [2]
World Military[edit]
The security platoon here is a regular line marine platoon from a sub-sector level regiment, courtesy of the Duke. They are equipped at TL–15, independent of planetary based manufacturing. All spares and replacement parts are imported from higher technology worlds.[2]
The local population has formed a militia force which is supervised by the marine commander in place. The marine platoon provides both training and materiel support. The primary militia weapons consist of surplus carbines and pistols with no heavy weapons and no military class vehicles.
World Economy[edit]
Several interstellar financiers are investing in developing an Agricultural World based upon aquaculture here. Deep Caviar is already a luxury foodstuff in high demand. Producers cannot keep up with demand. [3]
Arcon Lines (AL) a new interstellar corporation settled on Jenghe as its corporate HQ in 1103 with a base providing administrative offices a landing field and maintenance facilities for its small fleet of merchant ships. AL runs cargo and passengers on established routes primarily Jenghe-Regina and Jenghe Ruie. The company is owned by retired Rear Admiral Rutger hault Rognvald the famous noble who was considered a 'Top Gun' of the fighter pilot community when serving on active duty and a dashing celebrity and the subject of several books and films.
Imperial Interstellar Scout Service Contract; AL won a bid to re-furbish detached duty scout/couriers for the Regina IISS Regional Detached Duty Office. This contract has been viewed by the local population as a significant boon to the economy and provides jobs for people who are eking out a living on the recently devastated world. AL has been the source of several employment and educational opportunities which have been viewed as a bootstrap to the independent minded locals. [2]
World Culture[edit]
Imperial Star Scouts (ISS): There is a small chapter of ISS on Jenghe which is sponsored by retired Admiral Rutger hault Rognvald, the Jenghe chapter meets each week at the auxiliary hangar in the Arcon Lines compound. Baron Skyos is a patron of the Imperial Star Scouts on Jenghe.[2]
