Circle of the Sphere

An influential government among the Inheritors.

About a tenth of the known Inheritor nests on Sphere have been united in the Circle, a relatively stable confederation. The Circle has also taken the lead in developing interstellar travel and contact with other races, notably the Hivers.

The sheer size of the Inheritor sphereworld means that many nests remain outside the mainstream of Inheritor politics.

Technology

Study of Inheritor vessels would reveal that some of their starship systems are close to Hive Federation design. It seems likely that at some point the Inheritors captured a Hive Federation scout or trading ship which blundered into their system.
