So the Spinward Main article says 223 worlds, and the category has 235 worlds listed. Which is correct? Tjoneslo (talk) 15:59, 10 August 2013 (EDT)

I'm still QCing the list and taking a hard look at that discrepancy. I think the 235 may be low -- if I didn't miss one in my first pass, it would be a miracle.

The 223 number originates with the source materials (Supplement 11 and Traveller Book), and I think is either an error or should be qualified as "223 Imperial worlds" or something.

Note that the Traveller Book's states that the Main allow J-1 ships "to travel to 15 of the 16 subsectors within the Spinward Marches, and to 223 of the sector's 431 worlds."

Given that 431 is wrong (it should be 440, as correctly stated in Supplement 11), I am skeptical of 223.

We should fix the article. It should be accurate rather than simply restating the (incorrect) canon. Also double check my quick look, but I think there are some worlds in Foreven and Deneb which are technically on the Spinward Main. Tjoneslo (talk) 09:29, 11 August 2013 (EDT)
Also the count of worlds in the Spinward Marches is 439. Verified by looking through Traveller Map. The Wiki says 440 because it include Ayoreldold, which, as the article states, may or may not exist. Tjoneslo (talk) 09:40, 11 August 2013 (EDT)
After triple-checking, I'm coming up with 236 worlds on the Main in the Spinward Marches, with a few more in Foreven and Deneb Sector. I can only conclude that the original source was wrong, and will update the entry.
