The description of this category says that it contains articles that are particular to the GURPS version of Traveller. This either means articles that details how the GURPS rules apply, which I believe is prohibited (no game-specific details, right?), or details things that are different in the GTU universe.

Supposedly, the GTU is identical to the OTU up until some still unrevealed Change Point not too long before 1116. Anything that happened before that is the same in both universes. So just because it was established in a GT book, it doesn't mean that it is particular to the GURPS version. Also, lot of material in the GURPS books were first established in previously published material, and that certainly can't be considered particular to the GURPS version.

It seems to me that the only articles that belong in this category are those that describe what happened in the GTU after the changes wrought by the CP had kicked in. (I.e. an article about Norris' life prior to 1114 doesn't belong; an article that mentions how Norris promoted himself to archduke after he heard about Strephon's death doesn't belong; and article about how in 1114 Strephon decided to make Norris archduke does belong.

This should be more of a meta-catagory. The articles in this category have details which are published only in the GT books. A specific article may have origins in other Traveller material, but the GT source has details which are not found anywhere else. I created this category during a discussion about the SJGames online policy. If someone complained about us stepping over a line it would be easy to find all of these articles and revise (or delete) them. Tjoneslo 18:01, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
