Gabrael Devil are the largest and fastest predator on the plains near the starport on Gabrael

Physiology & Ecology

Native to the plains to the east of the Starport, these creatures are about 200kg in weight, have 6 legs and are ambush predators that hunt in pairs or small family groups. They are the most effective hunters on the plains. They have notable Claws and Teeth and a very good camouflage. They have excellent senses of smell and sight, reasonable senses of hearing and can run at up to 50kph.

Diet & Trophics

The Gabrael Devil will stake out a territory and hunt the animals that wander into that territory - particularly Vodhn. They will typically hide in cover and ambush passing prey, but when multiple are present, they will hunt cooperatively with each member using its own position to ensure that the intended prey are driven towards other family members should their own attack fail.

These creatures are rare and have protected status on Gabrael. These creatures may not be hunted except with a license.
