Caledonia has a tainted unbreathably thin atmosphere and very little surface water. The system has a population between 10,000 and 10 million, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Glisten Subsector of Spinward Marches Sector and in the Domain of Deneb. Caledonia, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world.

The thin atmosphere is tainted with virulent allergens, provoking a lethal allergic reactions in about 60% of humans and Vargr.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Settled in 92 by political exiles from the Imperium. The colony almost perished when the long-term effects of certain airborne allergens proved lethal to 60% of the original colonists, but the survivors pulled through and even managed to hang on to their culture.[2]
A new colony was placed 1020 and quickly became self sufficient.[3]
