Description (Specifications)

As their home star is bright, and the snowy environment of their homeland produced a lot of glare, Anakundu eyes are black and a dense spray of freckles reduce reflection from the cheekbones. Other than this, they resemble Vilani, save that they're paler.

The most unusual aspect of Anakundu biologically is their sleeplessness and short lifespan. They naturally live less than 50 years; Vilani drugs improved this to around 80, still terribly short by the standards of Vilani.

Psychology

The Anakundu never recovered from the shock of being contacted by a vastly more advanced Human race, and are noted for fatalism and subordination. Most accept their "fate" and live accordingly, rarely complaining about anything.

History & Background (Dossier)

The Anakundu are native to a world in the Waroh System of Old Expanses, which they call Nuiya. Star charts prioritise the Imperial designation.

Contacted by the Vilani either before or during the Consolidation Wars (records vary), the Anakundu would prove amenable to service under the Vilani in military roles. By the arrival of the Terrans more than a thousand years later, the Anakundu could be found serving the Ziru Sirka in some numbers across much of the rimward parts of the Empire, where it was deemed too expensive to transport Answerin shock troops.
