- During the Long Night this world was named Miir.

Local Nobility[edit]
Aintrin, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Nobility overseeing the world.
Law[edit]
Lancian courts, called Ammeinha, are made up of 13 person "benches", a combined judiciary and jury, similar to Solomani Courts Martial. Each district's Ammeinha reflects the district demographics. The emphasis is very much on trial by one's peers.
Military[edit]
Most Lancians do not like the idea of permanent military forces, and even less the idea of serving in them. As a result most standing forces, the Pulehov, are small and often composed of non-Lancians. In times of war, the combined Lancian community -- the peoples' army, the Silkku -- is the ultimate defense of this and other Lancian worlds.
History-Era: New Era[edit]
Aintrin starport closed 1125, when the government decided to move the production off world. The remaining million people were left with substandard TL–8 equipment. While the government is still a stable feudal technocracy based on Lancian traditions, the law level has dropped several times. Trade with the Last Sane enabled them to have a working downport. But the starport's low law level makes the consideration of declaring Aintrin amber necessary.
Several affairs including slavery, dealing with geneered material, dealing with infected computers, drugs, and mass destruction weapons forced a boycott at 1173. Any ship from Aintrin is considered infected and will be searched by a quarantine team.
