Subsector Summary: 1116

Zeda, subsector I of Dagudashaag contains 38 worlds with an estimated population of 66 billion, a per capita income of Cr4,914, and a total economy is BCr327,699. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr544 through 36 starports (2 Class A, 10 Class B, 18 Class C, 6 Class D) employing 103,995 people. Driving this interstellar trade are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, four Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Zeda maintain 11 Scout bases, and four Naval bases. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 7 and 11). The highest technology level is 14 at Nueva Esperanza (Dagudashaag 0123), Dudin (Dagudashaag 0230), and Asimidiske (Dagudashaag 0828).

Zeda, subsector I of Dagudashaag contains 50 stars and 410 identified planets; 26 monostellar systems, 12 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 34 of the 38 systems (89%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, five Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, seven Poor (Po) worlds, three Vacuum (Va) worlds, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Zeda has an estimated population of 66 billion distributed across four High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 14 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, 15 Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Biik (Dagudashaag 0323). The population consists of 8 sophont groups including three native sophonts.

Third Imperium

The Third Imperium has jurisdiction over all of the worlds with an estimated combined population of 66 billion, a per capita income of Cr4,914, and a total economy of BCr327,699. The governments in the Third Imperium maintain 11 Scout bases, and four Naval bases. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 7 and 11). The highest technology level is 14 at Nueva Esperanza (Dagudashaag 0123), Dudin (Dagudashaag 0230), and Asimidiske (Dagudashaag 0828).

The Third Imperium has an estimated population of 66 billion in this subsector, distributed across four High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 14 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, 15 Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Biik (Dagudashaag 0323). The population consists of 8 sophont groups including three native sophonts.

History & Background (Dossier)

This region is a victim of arbitrary subsector divisions.

  • The subsector capital was sited at Zeda (Dagudashaag 0721), largely because it is the homeworld of the Ziadd and influential Minor human race.
  • However, the arbitrary layout of the duchy boundaries mean that much of the Zeda Cluster falls within the Shallows Subsector.
  • Appeals for the boundaries to be redrawn have been made, and a boundary challenge is scheduled for 1127.
