Youghal, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world.

It is located within the Dodds Cluster.

Youghal is an unusually shaped planet, being greatly flattened at the poles and bulging massively at the equator. As a result the atmosphere is too thin to breathe at the equator but is thick enough to breathe at the poles.
