Description (Astrography & Planetology)

Yorbund has a warm climate and a corrosive fluorine atmosphere that has so far limited efforts to explore the planet. Ice asteroids in Yorbund's two large planetoid belts provide the only available source of fuel within the system. The Yorbund space station and starport provide a base for belters working the planetoid belts.

History & Background (Dossier)

During the Fifth Frontier War Yorbund was subject to attacks from Zhodani-allied Vargr forces. On 014-1108 the Imperial Admiralty declared the system a combat zone.
