The Ykiuh are an extinct arthopodic race whose remains are founded scattered through the spinward Beyond & the trailing/rimward Vanguard Reaches sectors (circa -23000 to -10000 Imperial).

History & Background (Dossier)

A highly cultured race, they seemed to have disappeared abruptly after reaching TL–16 technological level with no sign of war or mass destruction. Some written documents survive but are undecipherable, leaving scientists and historians with a major enigma.
