Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The Yellow Jacket class Q-Ships is an armed anti-piracy starship
- It is a paramilitary ship and a Q-Ship.
- They are often converted merchant free traders.
- It is also known as the Yellow Jacket class Armed Merchantman.
Description (Specifications)
A small amount for reinforced bracing was added to support the hull plates and the engine room was gutted to accommodate the largest maneuver drives and power plants that would fit. The original commercial jump drive was retained, the result is pretty quick and agile. A pair of triple turrets carry a total of four beam lasers and a pair of missile racks. Nuclear tipped ordinance is used to discourage unwelcome visitors.
