Ximenes, subsector A of Alpha Crucis contains 34 worlds with an estimated population of 68 billion, a per capita income of Cr11,630, and a total economy is BCr801,881. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr5,804 through 30 starports (5 Class A, 7 Class B, 12 Class C, 6 Class D) employing 789,475 people. Driving this interstellar trade are seven Agricultural (Ag) worlds, six Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, eight Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Ximenes maintain four Scout bases, and two Naval bases. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 12). The highest technology level is 15 at Iamir (Alpha Crucis 0208) and Wulfe (Alpha Crucis 0303).

History & Background (Dossier)

The subsector is almost entirely within the borders of the Imperium, having been captured from the Solomani Confederation in 1002, the last year of the Solomani Rim War.

  • Even after more than a century, Solomani resistance still smoulders on Harran , Ninmah, Menaf, Phlegethos and Leng and these worlds remain under Imperial military rule.
  • Faro and Iamir are isolationist Selenite worlds whose genetically-modified populations appear as happy to be in the Imperium as within the Confederation.
  • Duchess Karima Delgado is the Duke of Ximenes and the Imperial sector duke of the rump sector of Alpha Crucis.
