Description / Specifications

Xelan Subsector is named for the Xelan system and its red giant primary star. The majority of the Subsector lies within the Moat Rifts. The Protectorate of Leset, a paranoid and autocratic Mantlerist state, occupies the systems of the Ritos Cluster, lying within its rimward regions.

There are two High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, six Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, five Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. There are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds versus one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, and no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds. There are no Rich (Ri) worlds versus no Industrial (In) worlds. There is one Asteroid (As) belt, one Desert (De) world, two Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, three Poor (Po) worlds, one Vacuum (Va) world, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world. There are no Naval bases in the subsector, no Scout bases, and no Way stations. The highest population world is Oromet (Far Home 2710). The highest tech level is B at Oromet (Far Home 2710).
