XWeb

The lessons of the Final War and the Collapse have led to the downfall of the old Xboat routes and their replacement with the XWeb, a more comprehensive and effective system.

History

Public outrage at the blatant cynicism of the Imperium maintaining parallel Jump-6 routes for the noble elite and Jump-4 routes for the rest of the population spelled the end for the Jump-4 Xboat system. When everyone was equal in their vulnerability to Virus, there was no longer any excuse for separate and unequal access to information.
