History

In 1059 was Whanga surveyed as part of the Second Survey; the planet's population was found to be in serious decline.

In 1096 an Imperial Scout expedition to Whanga determined that the population had become extinct.

In 1099 Whanga was granted to the Duke of Regina by the Archduke of Deneb as a fiefdom-in-perpetuity.

During the Fifth Frontier War Whanga was declared a combat zone on 014-1108
