The Vigilant class Starmerc Armed Liner is an armed starship.
- It is a paramilitary ship and a Starmerc Armed Liner.
Description (Specifications)
The Commonwealth has modified its basic starmercs with several improvements. A TL-16 power station reducing fuel requirements for Jump, to 50%, while creating a defendable design: 4 agility, 4 fighters, 4 energy turrets, and 2 armor. Vigilante class has a basic crew configuration of 13. It has accomdations to support 40 additional staff members; 32 marines and 3 marine officers, 4 fighter/shuttle pilots and 1 flight officer.
The Captain, First Officer, Flight Officer and Marine Commander have their own cabins. The remaining 49 share double cabins. 2 single cabin are available for passengers. The captain has a double and the first officer has an open extra bunk in his double cabin. Fuel supplied includes 120.8 tons J-4 fuel and 20 tons power plant fuel for 4 weeks of duration. Cargo has a 5 ton fuel blatter for 1 week of fighter/ lander fuel. There is 7.06 tons of missiles and 10 tons for vehicles.
