Vargr Ethnic Group

The term Vargr Ethnic Group is used to describe some variant of the Vargr sophont species.

• Some of these groups have taken on selected genetic variation and mutations creating significant differences. All known Vargr Ethnic Groups on record have retained genetic interfertility.

Description (Specifications)

There are some sophontologists who argue that the term sub-species is inappropriate when describing the genetic variety of Vargr thus far found across Charted Space, the Vargr Extents and Vargr Enclaves. Instead, these politically correct Diplomats attendant to the Major Race use ethnicity when referring to any one of the subsets of Vargr phenotype so as to avoid angering the proud race. The counter argument to this by biologists is that rated Universal Persona Profiles (UPP) have continually produced distinct Sophont Cards on file with the Imperial Interstellar Scout Service.
