Basic Ship Characteristics[edit]
Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (...of ten subcraft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (...thousands of tons) where necessary. No. | Category | Remarks |
1. | Tonnage / Hull | The Uthgvoe class is constructed using an 80,000 Ton hull built in a Dispersed Structure configuration. The hull is unstreamlined and cannot operate in anything denser than Trace atmospheres without risking catastrophic structural failure.
|
2. | Crew | x751 personnel.
Accommodations
Accessible areas of the hull are fitted with grav plates and inertial compensators and have full life support and environmental systems.
|
3. | Performance | The vessel mounts a Jump-2 drive, a Maneuver-6 drive, and a Power Plant-6, giving performance of Jump-2 and 6-G acceleration. The ship has an agility rating of 4 and an emergency agility of 6. The internal fuel tankage is sufficient for two consecutive Jump-2s and gives the power plant 4 weeks duration.
|
4. | Electronics | Adjacent to the bridge is a Model/5 fib computer: the vessel has a backup Model/5 fib computer.
|
5. | Hardpoints | 800 hardpoints.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Uthgvoe class Fleet Tenders are built locally and crewed by loyal Empire citizen-warriors. As a point of pride members of the Uthgvoe class are used as flagships for operations they take part in. The Dispersed Structure hull is unstreamlined and the vessel must rely on fleet auxiliaries for refueling operations. It has jump-2 range and carries enough fuel for two consecutive jumps. It can produce 6G acceleration and has enough excess power for agility 4. It is not intended to stand on the line of battle.
