System Data
Principale-Tzura System
The primary is Principale, an enormous orange giant star. It has a luminosity of 2138 Sols, a mass of 13.4 Sols and a diameter of 153 million km – the star's corona extends out to 0.51 AU, beyond orbital position (II). The inner system consists of (III-I) a very hot small gas giant and (III-II) a very hot small gas giant that orbit a common barycenter as they go around the star, (V) a vacuum inner world, (VI) a trace atmosphere inner world, (VII) an exotic atmosphere radworld, (VIII) a corrosive atmosphere inferno world, and (IX) an exotic atmosphere radworld – orbital positon (IV) is empty. (X) Gabbrin, a ringed large gas giant orbits within the habitable zone: (Xd) Tzura is its outer of its four major moons and is designated the mainworld. Few of the worlds retain satellites.
(X) Gabbrin
(X) Gabbrin is a ringed large gas giant that orbits Principale at a mean distance of 37.5 AU (5.61 billion km), within the habitable zone, and has an orbital period of 62 years 268 days. It has a diameter of 114,600 km and is a banded tan color. It retains a family of four major satellites of which the outer, (Xd) Tzura, is designated the mainworld. A broad highly reflective ring system surrounds the world.
Mainworld Data
(Xd) Tzura
(Xd) Tzura is the outer of the four major moons of (X) Gabbrin and is designated the mainworld. It orbits its parent world at a mean distance of 25 diameters (2.86 million km), with an orbital period of 397 days: it is tidally locked to Gabbrin. The axial tilt is 3 degrees relative to Gabbrin. Tzura has a diameter of 5,122 km, a density of 7.14 g/cm³ and a surface gravity of 0.52 G. Tidal stresses generated by the gravitational pull of Gabbrin cause frequent geological activity. The atmosphere is rated as Very Thin, with a mean surface pressure of 0.41 bar and a composition of 80% nitrogen (N2), 19% oxygen (O2), and 1% argon (Ar), water vapor (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. Around 2% of the surface is covered in lakes of liquid water: average tidal ranges are negligible. Mean surface temperature: 43°C. The atmosphere is active moderate and strong weather systems driven by the star work across the globe. The climate is static.
Mainworld geography and topography
Total surface area: 439 million km², Land surface area: 360 million km², Water surface area: 79 million km².
Native Lifeforms
Tzura, the mainworld, has primitive native life, consisting entirely of microscopic cyanobacteria-parallels that exist in any location where they can find even a minimal trace of moisture. Their metabolic functions maintain the process of atmospheric renewal.
