Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The Type D47 class Destroyer Escort is a great patrol vessel.
Description (Specifications)
It can't make planetary landfall, or conduct ocean refueling, or carry interface craft, or send troops or boarding parties for customs inspections. It is quick and agile, it carries a spare jump drive, just in case, and has some armored hull plating to prevent the worse critical hits from surface strikes.
