The Triggerfish class Battle Rider is a relatively unpopular export design used in parts of the Aslan Hierate and beyond
Description (Specifications)
Built for the Earawya Self Defense Force, it was envisioned as a battle rider that could be produced locally and sold to the clan navy on contract, that never happened. Only the prototype was ever built and the naval officers who came to evaluate the design were not pleased. It has prowled the outskirts of the Erawya system ever since on the look out for rival clan aggression.

History & Background (Dossier)
A beautiful looking craft, she is a long and sleek, streamlined needle wedge hull. She is considered too primitive to serve with front line Aslan Hierate forces. She has a 60 ton cargo bay which provides some versatility and allows her to remain on station for prolonged patrols. She mounts a spinal mounted meson gun which runs the length of the hull. Her secondary armaments include a repulsor bay, a battery of beam lasers, fusion guns, a particle accelerator bay and four missile bays. The special forces battalion has ten Grav APCs at their disposal, and four 60 ton drop boats. There is a small squadron of light fighters to provide them with close support. These features come at a cost, there is no armor. This was seen has highly irregular by the naval review board, who could not accept an unarmored battle rider for fleet service. The 5 G maneuver drives are coupled with a lack luster agility. Sluggish, was not what the navy was looking for. So for now it remains in service for Earawya (world).
