History & Background (Dossier)
Tralp is a high population world located in Voyager Subsector of Magyar. Tralp is a member of the Solomani Confederation, and while economically it is a relative unimportant world in the subsector, it is the seat of one of the more noteworthy member states of the Confederation, the Reformed Dootchen Estates.
- Tralp was originally settled by white South Africans, who were unable to accept the sharing of political power with the Terran nation's black majority.
- During the Long Night, explosive population growth forced younger sons to colonize neighboring worlds, expanding the reach of the Estates.
- Tralp also instituted an apartheid / slavery system that persists today in a strongly caste-based society ruled by the powerful Landholders.
