History & Background (Dossier)
The Zhodani, both accustomed to alien life and wary of contact given their own world's history with Chirpers, now extinct, observed native cultures carefully upon exploring the sector. Eventually they made contact with the sublight interstellar empire of the Addaxur and reached an agreement that permitted Zhodani expansion while designating ten worlds reserved permanently for Addaxur alone. Other local species were later integrated with similar care -- the Izdev and the Clotho, the latter of which were once confused with the Addaxur by many outsiders.
