The second setback was an unforeseen, slow-acting contaminant found on the surface of the planet. The compound was found to be a carcinogen, causing lung cancer that was airborne and picked up easily by ground crews making use of the Downport. After being shut down, the facilities were declared too dangerous to staff. Visitors may still use the facility, but must then use biohazard showers and cleansing agents nearby before boarding for departure.
