Recommended to omit? The table based contents aren’t much better. I have converted a few before I saw the recommendation.

Compare https://wiki.travellerrpg.com/index.php?title=Vargr_(Alien_Module)&oldid=614212 with Vargr_(Alien_Module). Which do we prefer?

The recommendation to omit the contents in this template is based on trying to work through all the edge cases of it not working due to formatting of the chapter titles. If the chapter or article title contains either commas or colons it messes up the parsing and the TOC comes out all wrong. There are several versions the table based TOC, including using templates (See Challenge 25). Do you have recommendations on which approach of how to include the TOC in the article? I’ll look over the examples. I may prefer a TOC that isn’t in the infobox. There are no perfect solutions just choices. I had encountered the characters in the title issue that makes TOC in the infobox difficult. —¿philoserf? (talk) 12:09, 24 June 2020 (EDT)
