The text describing this system states that the A-Component of the system is anomalously 50 times as luminous as would normally be expected. This should be reflected in the infobox describing the star. Also, the Yerkes Classes of stars are based on luminosity, and are on a logarithmic scale. So a Class IV star is roughly 100 times as luminous as a Class V star, which is in turn roughly 100 times as bright as a Class VI star. If the M1 and the M3 stars are both main-sequence (dwarf or sub-dwarf) and formed together at the same time (which would be suggested by the data from the original Signal GK article which says they are a close-orbiting binary pair), then the A-Component should be borderline between the B-Component luminosity class and the next brightest luminosity class.
