The name sounds Githiaskio, maybe? They are from this sector.
EDIT: Expanding on this, given that the point was raised as to why the Githiaskio would be interested enough to leave a linguistic mark on the system, I added the speculative notion that the now-extinct natives (whom so far as I know have had nothing established beyond their name) might have been involved in transplanting the Tobai.
