The Lalendrian reference is part of an Amber Zone adventure, and is this but does not qualify as a throw away reference.
What qualifies something as a throwaway reference? Are there rules?

- The text mentioning the race (or other item) is a sentence or less
- The article around the mention is unrelated to or on another topic.
