Is this still valid?
BITS is one of the three groups licensed by Far Future Enterprises to produce Traveller material; the others being Steve Jackson Games for their GURPS Traveller line and QuikLink Interactive with their Traveller T20 d20 compatible Traveller line.
At least as far as BITS goes? I know that GURPS and QLI no longer have their licenses.
