Atmospheric Taints (2017)

JTAS #17 (Insert): Special Supplement 2: Exotic Atmospheres contained not only Exotic Atmosphere types, but also a number of "taints" or "irritants" that don't rise to the level of being corrosive.

Several books describe tainted atmospheres. It has also been a semi-frequent topic of inquiry for referees looking for examples over the years.

Notes (2016)

Note: In both MgT and T5, Atmospheric Codes "E" and "F" have switched meanings. Type "E" is now "Thin, Low", and Type "F" is now "Unusual" (which includes ellipsoidal, but is more broad in its application than this).
