+ | : I recommend looking through GT: Ground Forces. This book has TOE and descriptions of both the Marines and the Army. It may be a better source to reconcile the differences. [[User:Tjoneslo|Tjoneslo]] ([[User talk:Tjoneslo|talk]]) 23:10, 24 February 2019 (EST) |

Imperial Army or Imperial Marines
I just re-read the JTAS#9 Article on the 4518th ... I think its and imperial Army Regiment with the standards and equipment close to that of the imperial marines. ( the JTAS 12 Marine Task Force article contrasts on TOE on several points). There are several mention that a the ranks are made up up “Marine Veterans” or “Marines seconded”. Now I am sure that there is something after JTAS#9 ... but if it is a Marine regiment, just call it the 4518th Imperial Star Marines ? Marc rationalization would be interesting to hear on this one.
