Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The TC6 Bisak class Brig is a warship.
- It is a military ship and a Destroyer Escort.
Description (Specifications)
The TC6 Bisak class Brig was designed to avoid modular quarters in big the large cargo bays. A dedicated troop carrier, a small platoon of 32 orbital assault marines were billeted on these ships. They have a platoon of Grav APCs and a pair of dropships for dust off and recovery. The available cargo hold shrank as a result. The armor is lighter, the ship is less expensive for its size, it is slower, but has superior range with enough fuel for two Jump-2s and can carry Jump-2 drop tanks common to all Confederate designs from this period.
The vessel has a fully streamlined conical structure hull. It is fitted with fuel scoops and fuel purification plant allowing it to perform wilderness ocean refueling.
Basic Ship Characteristics
Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary. [1]
