Suart is a low-population vacuum world, with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts in population size, warranting hazardous environment precautions.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Orret Subsector of Far Home Sector.
Astrography and Planetology
This star system is detailed using the Fringian Variant System Description.
- The Suart system is a part of the Pador-Aredian Cluster.

System Data
Hendo-Suart System
The primary is Hendo, an ordinary red main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 0.0136 Sols, a mass of 0.3626 Sols, and a diameter of 551,000 km. (I) a thin atmosphere radworld, (II) a vacuum iceworld, (III) a trace atmosphere iceworld, (IV) a sparse icy planetoid belt, (V) a large gas giant; Suart is its third moon and is designated the mainworld, (VI) a small gas giant, (VII) a ringed large gas giant, (VIII) a small ice giant, and (IX) a sparse icy planetoid belt form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.
(V) Weard
(V) Weard is a large gas giant that orbits Hendo at a mean distance of 1.73 AU (258.8 million km), within the outer system, and has an orbital period of 3 years 282 days. It has a diameter of 98,000 km and is a banded brown-tan colour. It retains a family of four major satellites of which the third, (Vc) Suart, is designated the mainworld.
Mainworld Data
(Vc) Suart
(Vc) Suart is the third of the four major moons of (V) Weard and is designated the mainworld. It orbits its parent world at a mean distance of 11 diameters (1.08 million km), with an orbital period of 100 days 9 hours: it is tidally locked to Weard. The axial tilt is 5 degrees relative to Weard. Suart has a diameter of 3,115 km, a density of 6.27 g/cm³ and a surface gravity of 0.28 G. Tidal stresses generated by the gravitational pull of Weard cause frequent geological activity. The atmosphere is rated as Vacuum. The world has no hydrosphere. Mean surface temperature: -212°C.
Mainworld Geography and Topography
Total surface area: 30 million km².
Native Lifeforms

No world in the system is known to have native life.
History & Background (Dossier)
No information yet available.
World starport
Suart has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which includes amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World technology level
Suart possesses a Technology Level of TL–11 or TL-B in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-2.
World government
Suart has no central government for the world, an Anarchy. The largest governmental structure would be a family, tribe, or single clan. The largest group will be between 50 and 100 individuals, and there may be dozens to hundreds of them. This governmental structure can be stable over long periods of time if the population remains small or geographically separated.
