No. of Stars | 21 |
Majority Control | Non-Aligned - % |
2nd Control | Aslan Colonies - % |
The Storm Subsector was named as a result of the high number of recurring solar storms encountered by the Imperial Interstellar Scout Service team assigned the task of exploring and charting it in 556. Those worlds whose primaries are most violent were aptly named with a "Storm" prefix. The similarity to a former IISS Scout, the Baron hault-Storm, is purely coincidental.
The Storm Subsector contains the spinward extremes of the Aslan Colonial States as well as the rimward extreme of the I'Sred*Ni Heptad. This entire sector may best be described as non-industrial with several agricultural worlds specializing in anagathic spices, exotic tobaccos, high-protein grains, and fine wines, brandies and beer.
The Storm Subsector has 310 million sentient inhabitants on 24 worlds. Its highest tech level is G at Storm Centre, and its highest population is 8 at Stormpressed, Stormhold , and New Groton.
Description

Note: The present Baron hault-Storm rarely ventures into this subsector, contenting himself to remain on Cahokia/I-Glathriel from where he exercises control of Delta Research or at the LHep(Or) Colony at Delta Centre/Metchi' Alagwa.
Subsector Summary: 1116
Storm, subsector O of The Beyond contains 21 worlds with an estimated population of 1 billion, a per capita income of Cr3,075, and a total economy is BCr5,511. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr303 through 20 starports (7 Class A, 5 Class B, 4 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 74,775 people. Driving this interstellar trade are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, six Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, three Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Storm maintain three Naval bases, one Way station, and one Scout base. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 11). The highest technology level is 13 at Storm Centre (The Beyond 1937), New Groton (The Beyond 2235), and Armory (The Beyond 2434).
Storm, subsector O of The Beyond contains 33 stars and 195 identified planets; ten monostellar systems, ten binary systems, one trinary system, and no systems with four or more stars. 6 of the 21 systems (28%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, no Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, two Poor (Po) worlds, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and no Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Storm has an estimated population of 1 billion distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, three Moderate population (Ph) worlds, eight Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, nine Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Stormpressed (The Beyond 1936), New Groton (The Beyond 2235), and Stormhold (The Beyond 2036). The population consists of 3 sophont groups.

The governments in Aslan Hierate, multiple clans split control maintain one Naval base, one Way station, and one Scout base. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 6 and 10). The highest technology level is 10 at Yafjha (The Beyond 2137) and Compagnon Noire (The Beyond 2139).
The Aslan Hierate, multiple clans split control has no inhabitants.
Client state, Third Imperium
