A Space Sargasso is an area of conventional space that constitutes a spacetime anomaly.

  • Many are ship graveyards. Many adventurers consider them to be treasure troves.
  • Whatever they are or aren't, they are considered to be devilishly hard to find... or escape.

Space sargassos are often located in the center of jumpspace anomalies causing starcraft to become marooned.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

It is thought that a number of space sargassos exist throughout Charted Space. Others consider the very idea to be an Old Spacer's Tale.
