History & Background (Dossier)

As of 1113, Souris underwent a revolution temporarily leaving it without a government. By the end of 1114 this revolution had ended with the deposing and death of the world's former non-charismatic dictator. He was replaced by a popular oligarchy of self-proclaimed nobles who instituted a series of expansionist policies. This new leadership proclaimed themselves the rulers of the Principality of Souris and began taking over nearby systems, peacefully or by force, with the new nobility being promised positions of rule over these newly acquired systems.

World Starport (Sp)

Souris has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
