History & Background (Dossier)
As of 1113, Souris underwent a revolution temporarily leaving it without a government. By the end of 1114 this revolution had ended with the deposing and death of the world's non-charismatic dictator. He was replaced by a popular oligarchy of self-proclaimed nobles who instituted a series of expansionist policies. This new leadership proclaimed themselves the rulers of the Principality of Souris and began taking over nearby systems, peacefully or by force with the new nobility being promised positions of rule over these newly acquired systems.
