Description (Specifications)

Smoke Grenades are designed to allow Infantry to temporarily screen their movements from visual observation. Each grenade will create a cloud of smoke about 10m across that lasts from a few seconds (high-gravity, strong wind) upwards (in Vacuum the cloud disperses faster than in an atmosphere due to the effects of atmospheric drag). Note that the smoke cloud is itself highly visible to optical observation. Its IR obscuration effects are minimal.

Various colours are available to mark targets for other units.
