Shukikikar is a nonindustrial world, that requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.
- In a technological universe, societies without industrial capability generally suffer as nearly all manufactured and high tech goods must be brought in at significant cost.
- As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
- It is a member of the Shukikikar League in the Tri-Empire Subsector of Glimmerdrift Reaches Sector.

History & Background / Dossier[edit]
Shukikikar was at one time the capital of the Shukikikar League. That polity was established in 890 with Shukikikar as its capitol. In the Tri-Empire War that followed, Shukikikar was successfully attacked in 1102 resulting the widespread destruction of the planet's population and infrastructure by nuclear weapons. The planet has not been repopulated or rebuilt since as the Shukikikar League doesn't have the necessary economic capacity to do so.
World Starport[edit]
Shukikikar does not have a starport. The Class X Starport is an indication that no starport exists in the system. There are no facilities or services available, and no site marked for landing.
- A class A starport did exist at one time but was destroyed.
World Technology Level[edit]
Shukikikar possesses a Technology Level of TL–3.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Printing press, the mechanical telegraph, and the first audio recordings.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Coal or other simple hydrocarbon fuels and early steam engines.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Bicycles and early steam coaches with advanced roadways.
- Water: Advanced sailing and early steam engine ships.
- Air: The earliest hot air balloons.
World Government[edit]
Shukikikar has no central government for the world, an Anarchy. The largest governmental structure would be a family, tribe, or single clan. The largest group will be between 50 and 100 individuals, and there may be dozens to hundreds of them. This governmental structure can be stable over long periods of time if the population remains small or geographically separated.
