Shogun is a water world with 90% or more of its surface covered in an ocean of water. The system has a population between 10,000 and 10 million, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. This is a high technology world with available technology over the standards for Charted Space. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Zeda Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Amec Trade Protectorate and the Domain of Vland. Shogun, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. This world has a nearby Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships. During the Long Night this world was named Bakha Lii. The Nahuatl name of the world is Huehuetecuhtli.

Astrography and planetology

Shogun is a member of the Dagudashaag Main. Iquehuac, the local version of coral, is a valuable resource.

Native Lifeforms: Ixtlil

Shogun is plagued by several species of marine predators, including a fifty meter long Ixtlil. The inhabitants of Shogun, in return, hunt the Ixtlil and several other of the predators.

History and background

The primary population of Shogun is known as Tecuhtl or wave riders. Most live their entire lives on their fishing boats. The main employer is Feathered Serpent Pharmaceuticals, purchasing the harvested sea plants and Iquehuac around the small, rocky atolls that form the only solid land.
