A Shimmersuit is a form fitting suit-device with extremely high technology capabilities.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The only shimmersuits found to date were located Ancient Sites. They are fitted for Droyne humanoid body forms, but can be squeezed over other humanoid forms including those of Humaniti. However the Droyne hand (manipulator) is different than that of humans so the gloves won't fit over non-Droyne hands. There is a large rucksack like bulge on the back where Droyne wings or air tanks might fit.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

It is rumored that several adventurers found several shimmersuits in the TBD system. The Old Spacer's Tale goes that the Imperial Authorities later seized these suits using the eminent domain of artifacts.

Numerous other shimmersuits have appeared on the black market and sold for extremely high prices. Shimmersuits are considered Class A Artifacts. If one is encountered, one should immediately contact the nearest Imperial Authorities or nobles.
