The Shi'awei are an enigmatic, aquatic Minor Race from Chaosheo (Deneb 0130), a water world. The Shi'awei live near geothermal vents in the sea floor and resemble bulky, bullet-shaped creatures with four evenly-spaced arms. The heat given off by the vents supports their lifecycle and affords an opportunity for rudimentary metalworking.
