Sheu is a preindustrial, moderate population world with over a hundred million, but not yet at a billion sophonts in population size.

  • As a preindustrial world, this planet cannot yet manufacture enough high-technology resources to support a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
  • This is a "Puzzle" world designated as an Amber Zone. Caution is advised since the world has an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions that are not well understood and might be a danger to a visitor.
  • It is a member of the Solomani Confederation in the [[{{{subsector}}} Subsector]] of Ustral Quadrant Sector.
  • This world-system hosts a Military Base, usually associated with military ground forces, which may be located on or off-world.

System Data[edit]

System:

  • 3 Gas Giants
  • 1 Planetoid Belts
  • 9 Other Worlds

Mainworld Data[edit]

Sheu has an Importance rating of -1 (Unimportant).

  • Importance Extension- -1
    • (The Importance Extension (Ix) ranks worlds within a region. It governs the locations of capitals and trade routes. )

Mainworld Atmosphere[edit]

Sheu has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Respirator Combination Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

World Starport[edit]

Sheu has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which includes amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

World Technology Level[edit]

Sheu possesses a Technology Level of TL–11 or TL-B in Hexadecimal Notation.

World Government[edit]

Sheu is governed by a Non-charismatic Dictatorship. A continuation of the charismatic dictatorship, where the original leadership has died or retired and replaced by allies or protégés. The reasons for the change in government remain as well as the assertion of rights to rule.

Sheu has a Law Level of B.

  • Rigid control of civilian movement

    • (Resources are any materials available for processing and exploitation. They include natural resources, minerals, ores, metals, energy sources, biological assets, and any other materials of limited availability.)
  • Labor-7 (Tens of millions)
    • (Labor is the workforce available for the processing and exploitation of Resources.)
  • Infrastructure-7 (generally available)
    • (Infrastructure is the established technical structures that support exploitation of resources. Infrastructure includes roads, power grids, communications, and factories.)
  • Efficiency- 1 (Average)
    • (Efficiency reflects the current economic system, and includes sensible legal procedures, appropriate tariffs, customs promoting a balanced work ethic, rewards for merit, and social structures which match ability and job. Negative Efficiency is worse. Efficiency at -1 or less turn the RUs available negative: the Inefficiencies are so destructive as to make the economy a net drain. Such barriers represent a welfare state; cultural influences which do not value wealth, even physical limitations. On the other hand, since some economies have positive efficiencies: positive multipliers increasing available RU. )
  • Economic Extension- 29
    • (The Economic Extension (Ex) is the strength of a world economy and provides basic insights into the economy’s structure and capabilities.)
  • Resource Units- 686
    • (The world's budget.)

  • Homogeneity-A (Discordant)

Members of non-homogeneous cultures hold many different beliefs on the fundamentals of society.)
  • Acceptance-7 (Aloof)
    • (Acceptance is the degree of xenophobia ( or xenophilia ) in the culture. High Acceptance is evidenced by friendliness to outsiders and offworlders; Low Acceptance is characterized by fear or rejection of outsiders.)
