Shakuur has both an unbreathably thin atmosphere and a lack of surface water making habitation by sophonts difficult. The system has a population between 10,000 and 10 million, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. The governance of this world is from Ninlakim (Dagudashaag 2208). It is a member of Third Imperium in the Arnakhish Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Shakuur, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. During the Long Night this world was named Muud.
Astrography and planetology
Shakuur is another of the relatively unimportant worlds of the Rusadaa Trace. It sees more stellar traffic than most other systems on the trailing periphery being on the edge of the main X-Boat/trade route into Khandi Subsector.

History and background
The reasonable starport facilities and moderate law level has encourage many smaller independent merchants and organizations to make regular stops. Here, often a blind eye is turned on the minor neglect of trading regulations and commercial law. Consequentially, the world is experiencing a moderately large influx of money.
