The primary is Astor, an ordinary red main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 0.0202 Sols, a mass of 0.3942 Sols, and a diameter of 604,000 km. (I) a very thin atmosphere radworld, (II) a trace atmosphere radworld, (III) Ditter, an exotic atmosphere bigworld: (IIIa) Seich is its only satellite and is designated the mainworld, (IV-I) a large gas giant, and (IV-II) a vacuum iceworld form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.

Namsal Subsystem

The companion is Namsal, a dim red subdwarf star that orbits Astor at a mean distance of 5.35 AU (orbital position (VII), 800.4 million km) and has an orbital period of 19 years 259 days. It has a luminosity of 0.00103 Sols, a mass of 0.081 Sols, and a diameter of 109,000 km. (I) a trace atmosphere worldlet, (II) a vacuum worldlet, and (III) a vacuum iceworld form the outer system. All of the worlds retain small satellites.

The axial tilt is 3 degrees relative to Ditter. Seich has a diameter of 3,526 km, a density of 4.82 g/cm³ and a surface gravity of 0.24 G. Tidal stresses generated by the gravitational pull of Ditter cause frequent geological activity. The atmosphere is rated as Vacuum. The world has no hydrosphere. Mean surface temperature: -168°C.
