Scirta is a low-population world with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts in size.
- This world has yet to take off economically or otherwise and the population remains low for reasons largely unknown.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Natar Subsector of Far Home Sector.

Telec-Scirta System[edit]
The primary is Telec, a red giant star. It has a luminosity of 2485 Sols, a mass of 469.7 Sols, and a diameter of 409 million km: the corona of the star lies at approximately 1.37 AU, just within orbital position (V). The inner system consists of (VI) a vacuum worldlet, (VII) a very thin atmosphere inner world, (VIII) an exotic atmosphere stormworld, and (IX) a corrosive atmosphere inferno world – orbital positions (I) through (IV) lie within the star and orbital position (V) is empty. (X) Scirta orbits within the habitable zone and is designated the mainworld. (XI) a dense atmosphere bigworld, and (XII) a trace atmosphere iceworld form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.
Sandosa Subsystem[edit]
The primary is an ordinary red main sequence star that lies approximately 8,350 AU from Telec. It has a luminosity of 0.0334 Sols, a mass of 0.4574 Sols, and a diameter of 711,000 km. (I) a standard atmosphere radworld orbits within the habitable zone. It does not retain satellites.

Mainworld Data[edit]
(X) Scirta[edit]
(X) Scirta is designated the mainworld. It orbits Telec at a mean distance of 40.4 AU (6.03 billion km), within the habitable zone. It has an orbital period of 11 years 310 days and a rotation period of 41.5 hours. The axial tilt is 22 degrees. Scirta has a diameter of 5,128 km, a density of 5.22 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.38 G. The world is geologically active. Its atmosphere is rated as Thin, Tainted, with a mean surface pressure of 0.51 bar and a composition of 69% nitrogen (N2), 30% oxygen (O2), and 1% argon (Ar), water vapor (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), ozone (O3), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. The taint is caused by the very high percentage of atmospheric oxygen. Approximately 38% of the surface is covered in seas of liquid water: average tidal ranges exceed 0.1m. Mean surface temperature: 4°C. The climate is rated as Temperate-Cool and experiences moderate seasonal changes during the local year. The atmosphere is dynamic and strong weather systems driven by the star and the seas surge across the surface.

The cold bigworld lying in orbital position (XI) (within the H+ region of the outer system) has primitive extremophile native life, consisting entirely of microscopic cyanobacteria-parallels that thrive in the harsh conditions. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
No other world in the system is known to have native life.
