Sagan supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Zeda Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Sagan, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. The system supports both an Imperial Naval Base and a Scout Base with the additional starship traffic. During the Long Night this world was named Radisar.
Astrography and planetology
Sagan is a member of the Dagudashaag Main.
Sagan appears to be a near ideal colony world, but the presence of a high concentration of native microscopic lifeforms makes the world a hazardous place to live without a sealed suit.
