Sagan is a low-population world with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts in size.
- This world has yet to take off economically or otherwise and the population remains low for reasons largely unknown.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Zeda Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector in the Domain of Vland.
- This world has a nearby Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships.
- It also contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling IISS starships and personnel.
Astrography and planetology
Sagan appears to be a near ideal colony world, but the presence of a high concentration of native microscopic lifeforms makes the world a hazardous place to live without a sealed biosuit.

History and background
An IISS medical research base is actively developing vaccines and treatments to allow open habitation.
The Imperial Navy also maintains a small orbital facility, established to monitor the growing commercial tensions between Bolivar (Dagudashaag 0240) and the Amec Trade Protectorate.
